NANCY LOGUE, Ph.D.

“With great respect for the courage it takes to reach out for professional help, I view psychotherapy as an active collaboration."

Nancy Logue, Ph.D.

"I admire people who face the challenges of life
and who are willing to take on the issues that interfere with the fulfillment of their potential health and happiness."

A licensed clinical psychologist, Nancy Logue has training and experience in a variety of therapeutic theories and techniques that she uses in response to each individual's needs and goals. With a comprehensive, practical approach, she supports people in doing the work they need to do to improve their lives.

Early in her career, Dr. Logue began to work with the full spectrum of eating problems, from anorexia and bulimia to overeating. During her 17 years on the staff of The Renfrew Center, she served as an individual, family and group therapist as well as a supervisor of other clinicians and writer for the website. She helped to develop a relational approach to symptom management and was the first director of outpatient services.

In Fall 2001, Nancy Logue began to study The Solution Method, a training program that equips people with the skills to nurture and set limits from within. Since February 2004, she has been leading Solution Method groups in her Yardley office.

Her work also focuses on relationship and family issues. For five years, she served children and families from all walks of life while working in the Parenting Department at Children's Aid Society of Montgomery County.  She taught child and family development in groups, through play therapy and in-home visits.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, National Eating Disorders Association and the Academy of Eating Disorders.

Nancy Logue earned her doctorate in Clinical Developmental Psychology and her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Bryn Mawr College. She graduated with High Honors from Wesleyan University, where she majored in Science and Society.
